I was supposed to send some bitcoins 0.5 BTC to someone for a transaction and after selecting the wallet address ID and sending the bitcoins, I noticed that the address has changed from the one I actually sent to. If you have sent bitcoins to the wrong address then i am sorry but there is no way to reverse the transaction.
Do you know how you may have selected the wrong address? Do you know who own that address?

Sorry like bitkilo said theirs no way to retrieve that transaction.
Just contact that person if his/her wallet is a HD wallet.
If that is HD wallet theirs no problem on that he will receive your payments.

Just contact that person if his/her wallet is a HD wallet.
If that is HD wallet theirs no problem on that he will receive your payments.

There is no questions about if the address received the funds or not because it has many confirmations already.
The only way the OP could contact the user is to send another small transaction with a note attached asking for them to make contact, a long shot but worth the time.

I think that is better to have wallets installed not only on your PC, but on your Tab and smartphone as well.

I had recently started investing in bitcoins. Just bought 0.053 bitcoins couple of weeks ago through ZebPay. Today I transferred by bitcoin balance of 0.045 to a different bitcoin account. Post the transfer, I recognized that the address was re-generated and the bitcoins were transferred to the older account. I do not have any backup of it as it is through a dealer generated account. Is it that I lost everything I purchased, if yes then I got bankrupted.

Guys, If anyone are trying to do a transfer, then my sincere advice is to transfer it to your personal bitcoin account from the bitcoin app and dont directly transfer it to the third party generated account as it doesnot have a back up and also that It might be hacked. I am a very small investor. But thats all my savings.

There are viruses, that can detect, that you copied a BTC address (ctrl+c).

They will replace copied address with their own address. So you will paste (ctrl+v) a wrong address.

You PC is most likely compromised.
