Bitcoin VISA Debit Card

Thu Nov 09, 2017 9:38 pm

My new Bitcoin VISA debit card arrived last week so i decided to transfer over some funds and start spending my Bitcoin in my local town. This is really cool, i was always wondering how and where i would be able to spend Bitcoin in my backward little town in the south east of Ireland. No one here has even heard of Bitcoin so the chances of anywhere accepting them it were zero.

After some research I liked the look of the Cryptopay VISA card, the fees are very low (€1 per month card charge, 1% card loading). The site and app are nice and easy, just transfer funds to your Cryptopay wallet then you load the card and you are ready to go. Because this is a VISA card it is accepted everywhere. So when you buy something Cryptopay debits the card the BTC/EUR value, simple and easy.

So what did i buy? well all life's essentials of course, beer, pizza, lunch :D

To order the actual card costs €15 but you can get 25% off if you sign up below. Have fun.
