I don't think anyone was really wanting Segwit2x to go through on the Core side or the Bitcoin Cash side. I think this frees up some of the big miners to mine Bitcoin Cash exclusively now as they are no longer bound by this agreement. I expect we'll see significant hash power moving soon. Possibly after the Bitcoin Cash difficulty adjustment fork on Nov 13.

Actually, hashrate has been decreasing after last difficulty adjustment. Difficulty prediction for next adjustment is at the time writing this -31.25%. Of course this number may vary, but if comes down at least 20% it will be very good.

Oh well, its probably going to crash and burn anyway.
Yeah, the only people making money are those day trading on the isolated IOU markets. And just as much money is being lost I suppose. It will highlight how much support a hard fork needs to create a viable chain, so there's that at least.
Well that`s 1UP! for me, its dead, didn't even get a chance to buy some matches and gas to light the thing.
I have been exchanging all my BTC for LTC anyway, I think a lot of people are going to get burnt, because of the hype, if they didn't sell fast enough.
All depends on their entry point though.

Hello Bitcoin.com Admin Team,

Currently, Your cloud mining life time contract is so high demand.

Your website should include "Life Time contract market" like ViaBtc.com
Eg.. https://pool.viabtc.com/contract/market/

Please consider for this free market place at your website to buy/sell hashrate.

Regards,
Yan Naung Soe

It seems many are now switching over to BCH as the official ticker (partially due to the issues with the BitConnect scamcoin on some exchanges and MarketCap sites).

Will Bitcoin.com's pool follow suit?

my question :-

1. When will you restock the lifetime plan for cloud mining ? Could you specify the date? i think everyone were excited to buy more hashrate :-)
2. how about add global hashrate pool in dashboard, so everyone can easily see when the hashrate switching to either BCH or BTC coin.

Our lifetime plans will be back in stock in about 4-5 weeks.

Our developer will change the Bitcoin cash initials from BCC to BCH as soon as possible.

Well, the difficulty adjustment was of just -6.09% Not as good as expected but it's still good. Not enough to keep people from switching to BCH though.

This is not an option at the moment. Instead, I recommend gifting a Bitcoin Cash paper wallet as a Christmas gift.

You can use our paper wallet generator here (compatible with both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash):

@Zowki What is the reason for changing the Hash allocation viewer? Would be nice to see where the pool is aimed and I already know how much hash power I have?

I made this change because many users didn't understand how to view their hashrate after they switched coins.

You can always view the pool hashrate on the pool home page:

I will switch to BCH mining until they fix the EDA. Sometimes you make big bucks out of it, and sometimes it becomes unprofitable when EDA kicks in.

Estimated 24hr revenue for Bitcoin Cash just plummeted, despite no change in my hash power or shares, in the last few hours. Is this related to the difficulty level?

That's what I'm talking about. EDA makes this roller coaster of difficulty on BCH.

EDA is non-existent now after the successful bitcoin cash hardfork

We should say network upgrade instead of hard fork to reduce confusion. Many people think hard fork means chain split.

When withdrawing either, it just says fee is .002. When withdrawing BCH is that in BCH? Or BTC? $13 to withdraw is a bit steep. But $2-3 isn't as big of a deal.

Withdrawal fee is 0.002 BTC or 0.000002 BCH. I will correct the text on the withdraw page.

Only 4 blocks mined on BCH and 2 on BTC for the last day. Are we mining less blocks due to the Bitcoin Cash DAA and swapping between chains too much?

How often does it check the difficulty? Difficulty adjusts on Bitcoin Cash every block now, so might be worth checking the profitability every BCH block rather than hour.

Also I'm wondering how it works. If the profitability check happens on the hour and the other chain is suddenly more profitable, does the pool immediately drop what it's doing (throwing away the current effort they've been doing looking for the next block) and immediately mine the other chain? Or does it keep mining to find the next block and only switch after the next block is found? The latter sounds better as we're not throwing away any mining effort in a mad scramble to start mining the more profitable chain.

We check for profitability every hour because we don't want to switch chains too often.

When we switch chains, we immediately stop mining the less profitable chain.
