I think i made a rookie mistake

Fri Nov 03, 2017 5:19 am

I put about $350 in my copay wallet after an injury back in June. Today i had to get a new phone, went to check my copay balance and realized...I didn't write down my 12 word recovery phrase. Is there any way to recover my account?

I hate to be the one to tell you this but without that back up seed you have slim to no chance recovering your funds.

There are wallet recovery services available but you will still need to provide them with as much info as possible. If you can remember some of your passphrase or password they will try brute force the wallet but not sure they can do this with Copay and especially so since you have a new phone.
I cannot vouch for this service as i have never personally used it: https://walletrecoveryservices.com/

It's impossible to bruteforce your wallet.

If it was possible, why not brute force Satoshis billions of BTC? Because it's not possible.

If you don't have your seed, you're done.
