Paid but coins not received??????

I'm a new user and I purchased bitcoins from this site for first time over 24 hours ago with a credit card and coins were never added to my walled nor have I received an email message, and I checked spam folder. Is this site legit or a scam???

Please check your receiving address here to ensure that the Bitcoin transaction has indeed been sent. If it has not then you will need to contact the sending party and ask them why. If it has then please read below:

Note: The information below applies only to the Bitcoin.com Wallet

We do not control the private keys to your Bitcoin.com wallet (as noted during wallet setup, these are generated and stored solely on your device) so we are unable to assist with moving any funds to or from any wallet, however if you cannot see the funds in your Bitcoin.com wallet please do the following:

- Go to Settings -> Your Wallet -> More Options -> Transaction History -> Clear cache
- Go to Settings -> Your Wallet -> More Options -> Wallet Addresses -> Tap 'Unused Addresses' 20 times until you see the message "Empty addresses limit reached", then tap 'Scan addresses for funds'
- The funds should now show up on your wallet homepage.

Please note that all queries related to purchases on https://buy.bitcoin.com must be directed to Simplex as they run that particular service. Their support team can be reached at support@simplex.com

I did follow the instructions. Are you able to purchase bitcoins and enter someone else's wallet, or does it have to be to your own wallet with Bitcoin.com? Thank you!

You absolutely can. 1. You buy bitcoins via whatever method. 2. You now have bitcoins in your wallet, maybe your bitcoin.com wallet. 3. Look at your bitcoin.com app ... you'll see an icon for sending bitcoins ... that's one way you can send bitcoins.

I'm brand spanking new and I haven't sent any bitcoins myself but, we'll get this!

We are just the credit card processor and we do not have direct access to your bitcoin wallet, address or account, and so, unfortunately, we cannot solve issues related or originating to/from your BTC wallet.

It would be more helpful to contact your wallet software provider's support team and see if they are able to help you.

Your wallet homepage says BCC because you set up a Bitcoin Cash (BCC) wallet, not a Bitcoin (BTC) wallet. You're absolutely correct in that this would be the reason you can't see your bitcoins.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are two entirely separate cryptocurrencies and they operate on two entirely separate blockchains. This means that Bitcoin (BTC) sent to an address on the Bitcoin blockchain will never appear nor be present on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. In this instance you seem to have sent a Bitcoin (BTC) transaction to an address in your Bitcoin Cash (BCC) wallet. Note that in the Bitcoin.com wallet you can set up both a Bitcoin (BTC) sub-wallet and a Bitcoin Cash (BCC) sub-wallet.

You can do the following to retrieve your BTC from your BCC wallet:

- Go to Home > New wallet (press the '+' icon) > New personal wallet
- Do not select the Bitcoin Cash option, as you want to recover your BTC. (Grey is off and sets up a BTC wallet, green is on and sets up a BCC wallet)
- Enter a name for the wallet (I would suggest BTC recovery) > Show advanced options > Wallet key
- Copy from wallet... > Select Wallet To > [Your Bitcoin Cash Wallet]
- Create new wallet

This will create a Bitcoin (BTC) wallet from your Bitcoin Cash (BCC) wallet seed.

- Once it has been created, go to Settings > [BTC recovery wallet] > More Options > Wallet Addresses > Tap 'Unused Addresses' 20 times until you get an "Empty addresses limit reached" message
- Tap 'Scan addresses for funds'

Your BTC will now appear in your BTC recovery wallet.

Again, you can manage both Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCC) in your Bitcoin.com wallet, but you must not send BTC to a BCC address and vice-versa. You should send BTC only to addresses in your Bitcoin.com BTC sub-wallet, and you should send BCC only to addresses in your Bitcoin.com BCC sub-wallet.

Thank you for the reply. i followed the instructions, unfortunately no coins in the wallet. (the new BTC recovery one)

i also checked the addresses and seems that the address of the BCC account where it was sent does not appear there.

i did also clear cache but it didn't help as well.

please advise, cause i really don't know what else to do.

i made a wallet in blockchain.info, and am able only to "watch only" the funds, cant use them. moreover, in my bitcoin.com wallet nothing has been recovered.

Please advise how do i proceed.

I have been waiting for 30 hours now, simplex has sent me the same reply. And blocked me off their social media. This seems like a super dodgy company. I asked for a refund they said they couldnt, I did research and transfer usually takes up to an hour. What if I never see my coins?

I was enjoying bitcoin.com until I had to deal with them. If I dont receive my coins I will be laying a legal case against them.
Their entire approach is unethical and they treat me like they doing me a favour when they are getting paid.

36 hours after i bought $2000 worth of bitcoin, i still didn't receive anything in my bitcoin wallet.

I mailed support@simplex.com - no answer.
I commented on one of their Facebook posts - i got my comments deleted and i cannot comment on their page anymore!

In 36h, the bitcoin price went up 10%!
Because of them, i obviously lost that too!

I'm calling my bank now to cancel the transaction and mark Simplex as fraud!

I will also file a lawsuit against them, very very soon.
