Everything is fake about ethconnect.The ethconnect site says:

In their whitepaper they literally stole pics from elsewhere online and then gave each pic a fake name and then listed them as developers.
Moreover, the ethconnect site claims that they are from Japan but in truth they are from Russia.
Their 'staff' doesn't even know how to communicate is Japanese.
They've been around for a long time as mmm.co (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMM_(Ponz ... e_company)) and have only recently rebranded themselves and being part of the cryptocurrency space.
