sent BCH to my BCC wallet

I stupidly sent my bitcoin cash BCH to my bitcoin BTC wallet. The BTC wallet show no funds but i am told that the BCH will be in the wallet and i need to recover it to a BCH wallet to access it. The problem is i have no idea how to do that! Can someone explain how to do it?

Depends on which wallet you use. The one you sent to, that is. Is it the bitcoin.com one? Or something else?

Hi Fishface68.

You'll have to export your private key from the Bitcoin wallet and then import it into your Bitcoin Cash wallet.

I believe that when you sent your Bitcoin Cash to a Bitcoin wallet what really ended up happening is that you sent your Bitcoin Cash to a Bictoin Cash address which has the exact same address as your Bitcoin address.

So its the same private for both the Bitcoin address and the Bitcoin Cash address (they are both the same address, just two different chains).
