BCC to BTC via ShapeShift.io

So today i thought i trade a little BCC to BTC (about $30 AUD) via https://shapeshift.io who is a great company that i have made many transfers with in the past. I was expecting to pay a few dollars all up in fees but was shocked when i seen the results;
Deposit: 0.06419400 BCH
Receive: 0.00200766 BTC
Miner Fee: 0.0015 BTC <-- This is where my money is going

So of course needless to say i didn't go through with the trade.
Shapeshift is a good site to use for quick crypto transfers but if doing any deal involving BTC make sure you choose the "precise" option so you can see what the BTC miner fee will be before hand.

Anyone want to trade a little BCC to BTC for me?

Interesting - according to the Shapeshift fees page the BTC miner fee is 0.0025 BTC, but the BCC miner fee is only 0.0002 BCC (0.0000110823 BTC). That's two orders of magnitude more expensive for any transactions involving BTC.

Thanks, i didn't think to look at their page but what i posted is what i copied from the site. If you try the same exchange it should produce the same results.
I may look into it more later and send an email if i need further clarification.
