ERC20 BitIndia ICO issues

Current trying to participate in the BitIndia ICO and transfer funds from a nano S / myetherwallet to the ICO contract address - but any time I make the transaction I get the error message on the attached pic.


WhenEver I check the bitindia contract address on etherscan I see that a lot of transactions are showing the same error message.

The Ether never leaves my account but gas is used on each transaction. Has anyone had any similar issues and found a solution as I don't understand why the transaction won't process.
