Is BitMainMasters.com legitimate? Noob trying to buy first equipment

Hi All -

So I am interested in jumping into mining and hope to get some of your expert advise.

Im looking to buy an AntMiner S9 and power supply from BitmainMasters.com Are they Legit?
I have to wire the money first, so I have no recourse if it's a scam.

They offer Antminer S9 13.5TH for $1650 plus an unknown import duty charge I will get from US Customs. They will ship in about a month.

Really worried about wiring the money and then waiting a month not knowing if it's legit

probally scam or legit since many people find ants9 and many scam trying to scam you .. probally if you buy i suggest from bitmain , amazon dhgate and ebay that have difrent price you can see there ..

I didn't hear from them for a week after I had sent them payment, and when I contacted them by email- by the way, it' just a generic email, bitmainmasters@gmail.com I received a emand to pay additional $25, "the intermediary bank charges" as that individual told me. Of course, I told him to f..k off, and promised to contact US authorities, if I don't get refund in two days. And I did it, filling IC3 form on Internet crime complaint website. I hope they will get his filthy ars!

right now bitmain have availabe s9 for order .. fast and secure ... will transfer 21/11 .. i now wait will be long but safe you money ...

i wish i would have read your post in time. i'm just like you and was really into bitcoin and was so excited to buy my first antminer s9, ran across bitmainmaster.com and place an order just wire my wester union money this morning and just got off work to find this site is a scam. they would not reply to my message i left on their site and i try to reply with the email order confirmation they send me and google show address not found that's when i realize it's a scam. what make me took a chance with it is that i order stuff from alibaba site before and a lot of those supplier only want wester union to avoid the middle man (alibaba) and i was successful with multiple order and since bitmainmaster show it's in the united states i felt it was legit but turn out o be a scam. it's sad now that i feel is bitcoin really worth it to invest in such an expensive piece of equipment and knowing that 80 percent of bitcoin has already been mine and you know there are massive data center out there is one antminer s9 gonna compete, will i ever gonna even achieve 1 coin before it's all gone. also i have read some post on a forum somewhere that said bitman is a scam altogether something about bitman ant bleed, it said that there is a virus in your bitman that open a back door to your miner and this was created by bitman themself. supposetly a small amount of hash is going to bitman themself or something like that and all bitman product have this setup cause it is a stand alone setup and no computer is needed for 24/7 operation. here is the link scam-accusations/beware-of-bitmain-the- ... 24214.html check out the post and tell me what you all think i will apreciate you thought on this.

BTC is literally like cash— once you sign that transaction, it can’t be undone!!!

I like to think I’ve done well over the years avoiding Internet scammers but I fear in this case I let my enthusiasm about Bitcoin blindside my skepticism. Unfortunately it looks like these scammers have moved on to another domain “Bitmain-alliance.com.” I attempted to send a Google ad complaint (since it was under their shopping results when I did a search for “Bitmain Antminer S9”) but I’m not willing to go thru their hoops on my phone at the moment. I doubt Google has any interest in cleaning up their act since they got paid either way.

Lesson learned. Be leery of services around Bitcoin.

why you not buy direct with bitmain ??you can go direct with bitmain or buy with another seller you can trust like i buy in bitcoinhardware ...

I think I got scammed with this same company too. I placed my order with bitmainmasters.com website last week on Sunday, Nov 12th, after finding them on google search and looking over their website content and testimonials. I received an email confirming my order with instruction for the bank wire transfer payment. After reviewing the instruction, I saw it was at Bank of America, so I felt comfortable since it's big retail bank. I contacted them on their website contact form to see if I could do a bank transfer instead of a bank wire transfer, and they send me an email reply on Monday afternoon, Nov 13th, that it should be ok and to make sure I put the invoice number on the transfer. The email apologized for the delayed response as they had just upgraded their computer system and were having technical difficulties.

I ended up doing a wire transfer instead to make sure I have the tracking for the payment. I sent a reply email back to let them know I had done the wire transfer payment and asked that they email me a confirmation that they received the wire and to provide information on when I will receive shipping confirmation. I received no reply back.

A few days later, still no response from them, I sent another message on their website contact form asking about the wire transfer payment for my invoice and inquiring about shipping process. I received no response and sent them another message a few days later.

Today, I called the phone number on their website twice and heard strange phone ring like it's a cheap VOIP line and then it went to a static sounding voice mail box with no greeting about their company or to leave a voice (and then you hear a beep sound to leave a voice message and that's it). I called them twice and left a voice message to call me about my invoice payment and order shipment information.

After both strange incidents with the phone call/voice message, I googled this company name and found this forum chain. I wished I had done this ahead of time; I went to my bank to report the situation, but I doubt they will be able to do anything about it. They said they will try to recall the wire back but was skeptical I would get my money back if it is a scam; they said their fraud department would contact me back in 3 days.

I have also placed an order with Bitmain Masters and feel like I have been scammed!! This is pretty serious for me, I do not have alot of money and was hoping to have my equipment before the holidays. I ordered mine back in early-to-mid October and recently sent an email to Bitmain Masters (via "Contact Us" link on their site) . I did get a response, but it stated that my order was delayed until January. I don;'t know if I should believe it or not. Does anyone have anything positive to say about them? Has anyone that ordered from them ever received anything from them.

They are a huge scam, and now they just upped the price to over $2000 per unit!!! you will never receive anything and never hear back once you sent the money!
