How can you explain this to "normal" people?

Depends on the person. If it's a child, buy some used console games or such a thing. Can be really cheap and they will like it.

This site looks extremly weird. You have to register with a name and a password and you have to remember the password to withdraw. But you don't need a mail adress. And a massive amount of popups, at least no shortlinks. I guess, they just use the password to block you out from withdrawing. There ...
