VeraCrypt is what you want. Because of some vulnerabilities TrueCrypt is no longer recommended.

Can you encrypt a file(pdfs, etc) and the whole thumb drive using veracrypt?

When will you be able to pay for your items at satoshi labs with Paypal and 3D Secure by Visa?

Not Paypal but credit/debit cards are in the process. We still prefer bitcoins and we will always give incntives for paying with BTC .

Being able to decrypt the file in Windows might be challenging. I know that 7-zip offers a minimal amount of encryption, maybe a more simplified solution like that would work better in your case.

Do you think this block-size issue can be resolved by December(thinking of Combining the LN-network with BIP 100)?

linux(Ubuntu 15.10). what encryption software do you suggest(truencrypt isn't that safe anymore i heard due to it being preparatory)? What encryption software does encrypt both the file and the entire thumb drive itself?
