Re: It is time for Jihan to stand up for Bitcoin

Thank you for making many valid points, but this is the one I disagree with the most:
You are obviously obssesed with Bitcoin blocksize
I'm not obsessed with the block size. I'm obsessed with allowing Bitcoin to scale to be able to challenge the Euro, the Dollar, or the Yen.
I don't care what the ...

Re: Increase the block size now!

I would think there has to be an 'organic' increase. For example, if a block size reaches 1mb, it would have to have the ability to increase on its own as and when it's needed. It would be good to have the size increase to a capacity that 'is needed for that block' instead of a general increase of ...

Re: Gavin Andresen: Satoshi Roundtable Thoughts

You'd think these 'anti on-chain scaling solutions' developer types would realize this is as essential as upgrading the RAM or Graphics Card (GPU) in your computer to deal with a more demanding video game.

This is how I see it in simple terms as a non-technical investor of Bitcoin.

Once again ...

Re: Gavin Andresen: Satoshi Roundtable Thoughts

Over the last year of trying, and failing, to reach a reasonable compromise, it has become clear to me that some developers don’t want any on-chain scaling solution any time soon. They believe more theoretically elegant (but technically complicated) off-chain solutions like the Lightning Network ...

Re: Large firms are choosing to postpone involvement with Bitcoin because there isn't currently capacity for it to grow.

It will be an opportunity lost for our right to spend without being stolen or monitored by the powers that should not be, if Bitcoin is allowed to go the way of Betamax and prove the the naysayers correct.

Betamax lost popularity as it wasn't as adaptable as its rival VHS. The consumer market will ...

I see the system applies to the Trans-Atlantic region only. Hope to see it expand to the Asia-Pacific in the near future.

Re: trading my story on RTL4 news

The good news is according to independent economists like Dr Jim Willie and V the Guerrilla Economist (which Roger Ver came on his show recently) the Middle East is swinging East, to Russia and China, both which are essentially joined at the hip economically and politically, and are not known for ...

You can look up Mark Passio's take on Natural Law, full presentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIEemKcy-4E
If its too long, you can watch in chunks or follow similar videos on the same presentation divided into 3 parts.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown.

I also hope it will reach a million per Bitcoin, and not in the too distant future, as it will benefit my buy and hold strategy.

Re: Expatriating From the US

I remember Roger Ver in an early documentary on bit coin stating Madeleine Albright's statement of the deaths of thousands of Iraqi kids as a result of the decade long sanctions between the two Gulf Wars and how Bitcoin will pull the rug under these 0.001 percenters.

The world is in a mess because ...

Look up V the Guerrilla Economist for his expatriation program "Plan B" to Panama. The details I know so far is that you need minimum $50,000, and I am not sure if he's still running the program, but you can still try by emailing him for help at guerrillaeconomist@gmail.com

He recent got on to ...
