Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Do you think it's worth investing in cloud mining now? I found a good company, but the unstable course does not bother me much. It is not profitable to invest in cloud mining. The pricing per TH ensures that you will only earn back maybe 1/2 of your original investment by the time your hashrate bec...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

There have been some doubts on this forum about contracts not paying off the initial investment. I think the main concern people express is whether they will generate more coin than they started with. If a mining contract costs 0.24 BTC and you only get 0.23 back by the time the contract ends, then...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

With the upcoming fork that is splitting off from Legacy BTC, would it be an advisable strategy to set our miners to BTC (even though BCC is currently considered more profitable) and then withdrawing all of our BTC before the fork so we can take advantage of the split? I could be missing something, ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Over 85% of the global hashrate has agreed to mine Segwit2X, so it is unlikely that the Segwit1X chain will survive. Please withdraw your BTC before the hard fork (approximately November 16th) if you want access to your Segwit1X coins. Zowki, would you recommend that we turn our workers to mine onl...

S2X Strategy

The S2X fork is coming soon and if various announcements are to be believed 85% of the global hashrate will switch to S2X which will likely cause the legacy bitcoin to die off due to lack of hashrate. After the dust settles and the S2X chain is shown to be stable, what are your plans? Will you attem...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Once S2X hits, what is the recommended action for those with legacy bitcoin? While Pool.Bitcoin.com has a plan to handle the S2X "fork" I'm sure the recommendation has always been to withdraw your coins and hold them in a private wallet before any major change to the ecosystem. Agreed. How about af...

How is the fee determined for withdraws from our mining account?

While I know that it is recommended to withdraw funds from our mining account regularly, would I save money on fees if I withdrew every 2 weeks instead of every week?

Re: BCC Exchange without wire transfer fees

To be clear, I'm not referring to the transfer fee you normally pay when buying bitcoin. I'm talking about the bank fee when you send money by wire transfer. Exchanges like Coinbase allow ACH transfer which doesn't require a wire transfer fee. Most banks charge $20-$30 for wire transfers.

Also agree this is better branding than "Bitcoin Cash".

BCC Exchange without wire transfer fees

I am trying to purchase Bitcoin Cash using USD without having to pay wire transfer fees. I've looked at Kraken and Bittrex and both of them require USD to be deposited through wire transfer. Is there a trustworthy exchange that allows you to deposit USD via ACH or some other method that won't requir...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

My tool is a bit less relevant these days because of the unpredictability of Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin Cash. However, zowki noted earlier that historical difficulty increases (>5%) have been relatively high and probably not sustainable. He estimated that the average difficulty increase for BTC shou...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

New to bitcoin.com and cloud mining. From what I can tell, at this point, investing in bitcoin cloud mining seems to be more about supporting the bitcoin infrastructure than earning money on an investment. In looking at the different plans offered in the bitcoin.com cloud mining pool, and plugging t...

bitcoin.com cloud mining contract choice

I am looking at purchasing hashrate in the bitcoin.com cloud mining pool, and I notice that the 3 month contracts are continuously sold out. Are the 3 month contracts more lucrative than the other contracts? It seems to me that the lifetime contract, in the long run, would be more lucrative than a t...
