It is not profitable to invest in cloud mining. The pricing per TH ensures that you will only earn back maybe 1/2 of your original investment by the time your hashrate ...

There have been some doubts on this forum about contracts not paying off the initial investment.

I think the main concern people express is whether they will generate more coin than they started with. If a mining contract costs 0.24 BTC and you only get 0.23 back by the time the contract ends ...

With the upcoming fork that is splitting off from Legacy BTC, would it be an advisable strategy to set our miners to BTC (even though BCC is currently considered more profitable) and then withdrawing all of our BTC before the fork so we can take advantage of the split?

I could be missing something ...

Over 85% of the global hashrate has agreed to mine Segwit2X, so it is unlikely that the Segwit1X chain will survive. Please withdraw your BTC before the hard fork (approximately November 16th) if you want access to your Segwit1X coins.

The S2X fork is coming soon and if various announcements are to be believed 85% of the global hashrate will switch to S2X which will likely cause the legacy bitcoin to die off due to lack of hashrate.

While Pool.Bitcoin.com has a plan to handle the S2X "fork" I'm sure the recommendation has always been to withdraw your coins and hold them in a private wallet before any major change to the ecosystem.

How is the fee determined for withdraws from our mining account?

While I know that it is recommended to withdraw funds from our mining account regularly, would I save money on fees if I withdrew every 2 weeks instead of every week?

To be clear, I'm not referring to the transfer fee you normally pay when buying bitcoin. I'm talking about the bank fee when you send money by wire transfer. Exchanges like Coinbase allow ACH transfer which doesn't require a wire transfer fee. Most banks charge $20-$30 for wire transfers.
