Re: How to get BCH

I was told that once the fork occurred, it didn't matter any longer if I moved/sold/used the BTC since it was no longer "connected" to the BCH/BCC. How can a company, like Jaxx, hold your funds/coins hostage for an indefinite time. Where do the BCH go, who has them, if my BTC were moved, say a week ...

How to get BCH

I was told that at the time of the fork, having my private keys to my BTC wallet would be enough to allow me to later gain the BCH. So, I have the private keys from a wallet (Jaxx.io) where it is uncertain if or when they will integrate BCH...they say they will, but are tip-lipped when or if that ...

Re: Bitcoin Cash Mega Thread

Hi all I have a ledger wallet and have tested the waters by sending a small amount of bitcoin to my bitcoin cash on the split side. It has been sent and the send to address is all correct but its been nearly 24hrs and it still has not appeared in the bitcoin cash split side. Anyone have any answers ...

Re: Help for non-developer in understanding the fork

Thank you very much GreyWyvern and Rizziolola. Perfect response and clears this up well....but does then raise one more question: I see how it is hoped that soon, bitcoin.com will support BCH. Assuming that has already happened...will it be possible for me to move only some of my current BTC using ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Android Wallet

Congrats on the high ranking!

No intent on distracting here, but excited to try it out some day...any plans for an iOS version in the future?

It has already been submitted to Apple for review.
Hopefully it will be approved this week.

I have downloaded from app store and seems like a nicely ...

Help for non-developer in understanding the fork

I am not a developer, just a user. I have two online wallets...one is bitcoin.com. I appreciate that there is work afoot to try to enable keeping BCH on bitcoin.com. Thanks to those who can, for those of use who can't.

I understand much of the fork. But before I feel comfortable using my BTC, I ...

Re: I have a Bitcoin Core wallet and would like to get my BCC.

To start, get my suggestion verified before you act, as I am far from an expert...only sharing with you a possible solution. I am of the understanding, that you can take your private key from the wallet that is not supporting BCH (bitcoin cash) to a wallet or exchange that is supporting BCH and use ...

BTC hard fork for dummies

I am new to cryptocurrencies and trying to learn as fast as I can. I generally understand the hard fork and also somewhat the two sides of the argument for/against. But, in that the hard fork HAS occurred, can someone explain why (or to what end) some exchanges/wallets are refusing to accommodate ...
