Re: Having trouble choosing an exhange

The famous Bitcoinxio! Thanks for the recommendations. I already checked out the Australian list on this site, but just like any site it's just another list that makes my head spin.. I'll check out Coinbase. That's the place most people recommend.

Having trouble choosing an exhange

Okay guys, so I'm new to this whole thing. I've done a tonne of reading on different exchanges and the second I think I've got enough positive feed back to actually decide on an exchange, I bump into negative info.. I know every exchange will have its fans and its critics based on the different ...

Re: My terribly negative experience with QuadrigaCX, Canada's leading BTC exchange

Wow, I was considering Quadriga on recommendation from someone I know, but there's no way after reading your story that I'd deal with them. Thanks for sharing. Your written expression is very vivid and detailed. You should start a blog or something :)

Re: My BTC never transferred and my money taken from my bank

Wow... well i'll skip out on simplex then. I haven't purchased any Bitcoin yet because I haven't been able to choose an exchange, but you guys should have just gone through an exchange.. sounds like the verification process for some exchanges is quicker than it takes to receive your Bitcoin from ...

Re: Bitcoin Client

After reading an entertaining debate between one of breadwallets devs and users of the app who weren't happy with the bit denomination, I've realised it's as simple as either dividing or multiplying by 1 million... initially I was against the idea, but when I thought about it, we won't be trading in ...

Re: Bitcoin Client

So I've downloaded breadwallet and noticed that it displays its conversions in bits rather than full BTC. Is it millibitcoin or microbitcoin that it's converting to.. is there a link to a reliable conversion calculator or is that impossible with the constant volatility of bitcoin (I've come across ...

Re: Bitcoin Client

I've just gone to look at the area on the forum that shows the list of different exchanges. I clicked, 'See all exchanges' it doesn't load anything. I also just tried selecting my country (Australia) and it didn't load anything then either.. do I need to be on a pc to view this area (I'm using my ...

Re: Bitcoin Client

Actually one more question for ya.. do you prefer having your lite client on your phone or computer? Is there any distinct benefit of one over the other?

Re: Bitcoin Client

Thankyou so much for pointing me in the right direction! It's great to finally ask a direct question and get a direct answer... so many people have conflicting opinions on what they think are the best Wallets and Exchanges and just when I think one sounds good I start to read bad reviews.

So the ...

Bitcoin Client

Hey guys,

I'm a newbie when it comes to Bitcoin... I've been doing lots of reading and have been trying to wrap my head around it all.. I usually end up with more questions than answers.

My question for you all is, what is a Bitcoin Client?? I've been reading an ebook about how to get started in ...
