Do you think raising the blocksize is an urgent issue?
Hypothetically, if the "Bitcoin Core" implemented a change that you disagreed with, would you use a different software implementation of the Bitcoin protocol?
I think a lot of people feel "unsafe" with btcdrak as a mod, in that they feel they might get banned for saying the wrong thing... which is really the *entire point* for moving away from /r/bitcoin in the first place.
I'm glad that you invited developers to talk to each other about governance, however, the scaling issue still seems stalled and it feels like every influential person (such as yourself) is waiting for consensus to emerge. Do you intend to be more proactive and try to mold consensus around a ...
Might there be interest in an AMA with someone from the journal, Ledger? http://ledgerjournal.org/ojs/index.php/ledger
Our deadline for submissions for the first issue is approaching, so it could be an opportunity to field some questions and encourage people to submit their work who are on the ...
1. Before the Trezor went for sale, I was literally planning to buy *hundreds* of them and just hand them out to anyone I thought might be interested in Bitcoin. I wasn't expecting them to cost $100, of course (but I still bought 10, including 2 metal ones, so don't think I ...
Full disclosure, this question is a shameless plug:
Have you (or are you) considering submitting any of your research to our new peer-reviewed journal Ledger? Also, it would be great to hear your thoughts on the role that academics can play in the evolution of Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies.
First of all I want to say THANKS, YOU GUYS ARE MY HEROES. You and Tony have done so much for Bitcoin it's hard to think where we would be today without you.

(Provided that the block size limit is raised and Bitcoin continues to be widely adopted...) Do you think it will be common in coffee shops/restaurants for users to just hand merchants signed transactions rather than broadcasting them to the Bitcoin network themselves? I was in a restaurant once ...
Just wondering which people in the Bitcoin eco-system you tend to stay in contact with. Do you communicate much with the founders of various Bitcoin exchanges, for example, or with the CEOs of companies like Coinbase or Circle? Have you talked to Gavin Andresen on the phone? (I've listed a tiny ...
It seems to me that a lot of the venture capital dollars are being invested prematurely... I think that money would have been better spent just buying bitcoins, and then once the price is $10,000 (ish), a lot more money is then needed to try and keep it ...
Do you talk regularly (or at all) with big miners about Bitcoin and issues like the block size debate? You don't have to reveal your position on the debate, I am just wondering if have an open line of communication with say KnC Miner or 21 Inc (great if you talk to Chinese miners too, but I ...
[since you already answered one of my questions, feel free to skip this one unless you're really bored and out of other questions]
Q: In an earlier email to you about UTXO growth, I said "hey, it shouldn't grow forever because the smallest txn is 1 satoshi, and so the theoretical maximum UTXO size ...
1) It always felt to me, in the months leading up to last August, that the clear popular majority was in favor of larger blocksizes and even BitcoinXT (it still feels that way on /r/Bitcoin). It was surprising then that so few people ...
