money sent wrong

Fri Aug 17, 2018 3:33 am

:( Hello, this is Bryan. I opened a bitcoin wallet a couple days ago. I attempted to send 127.30 using BCH. The website I sent it to didn't tell me they only accepted BTC. My wallet is empty and they never recieved the money. I checked the chain and it was sent somewhere. How do I get my money back because no one is accepting responsibility.??

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin Core (BTC) are both irreversible payment systems so there is no way to reverse a sent transaction.
The responsibility lies with the sender, to make sure they are sending the correct currency to the correct address.

If you have sent BCH to a BTC address, then unfortunately there is no way for you to recover the BCH from your end.
BCH can be recovered from a BTC address, but this can only be carried out at the receivers end.

I would recommend that you contact the company you sent BCH to, and ask them nicely if they could help recover the BCH that you mistakenly sent to their BTC address.
