Sent BCH to BTC address

Hi, does anyone know what will happen. On Poloniex, I sent my bch which was already on Poloniex to a Poloniex BTC address. I thought I was exchanging BCH for BTC and did a withdrawal of my BCH and entered the BTC address. I feel pretty stupid doing this now and realize after the fact that I should have gone to the Poloniex exchange to do this transaction. Now I can't see any of the BCH and it shows that the withdrawal was complete. I sent in a ticket to see what can be done. Has anyone had this issue happen? I am hoping that this can be reversed.

Polinex will have the private key of the BTC address (which is the same as the BCH address). They will likely be able to sort this out however I wouldn't expect that to happen fast.

Omg, I did the exact same stupid thing. Transferred from Payeer bitcoins to my BCH address instead. What do I do?

Hi there,
Sorry to hear all this, guys. How can I send my bitcoin to another address? I’m trying to withdraw my bitcoin from my personal bitcoin.com wallet, but it seems futile. Yesterday, I tried to send it from an external wallet to my green BCH wallet, but I received it in my yellow BTC wallet underneath it because the address codes are similar. But I don’t know why it says not backed up in the latter. Today, I’ve been trying to send it to another address code to buy BCH but I don’t find any way out of it. Thank you for any feedback guys!

Yeah, it turned out quite difficult. I've never even heard about it. I think you should write to them, they'll figure it out.
