Why do most sites i have looked at have these listed as "out of stock"
How many unit in total will/have been made?

I will have to look into these further but if your willing to use the real OgNasty from this and bitcointalk forums then i can't see any problem here, he has escrowed many big deal before.
Still it's 85btc so extream caution must be taken.

Thanks for taking a pro-active approach to keeping people safe here. As a forum that is committed to staying open and free of censorship, in this kind of a situation it would be prudent for moderators to wait for a message from whomever is purported to be the real owner of a website advertised in a thread, and affirm such ownership through any proof that they are able to supply.

However, in this case a quick check of both website's WHOIS information, matching each against the information on the real Spondoolies-Tech site (as affirmed by multiple Google searches and results) confirms that the site is registered in Israel as the real website suggests, whereas the scam site was registered with GoDaddy in the U.S.

I have removed the URL and banned the user. If Guy Corem of Spondoolies-Tech gets in touch with us we will remove the account so he can register it himself.

I thought i could smell a scam and was trying to catch him out that did work a little. He said he has 10 units to ship asap but every website i checked had them listed as out of stock.

Its started to sound ok when he agreed to use OgNasty as escrow but then i read his post again and it said to contact him first so he was probably trying to get some to not use escrow for a discount or something.

I will ban the user and see what i can do about the user name, when they register if it doesn't work tell them to PM evilroot or myself and we will work on it.

I suspect the forum software let's any other account with moderator privileges take the same action repeatedly if that action simply limits the account in question because banning doesn't remove the account from the user database, just blocks it.

Locationwise I'm based within the UTC timezone but my waking hours are rather random!
As for getting in: Roger asked me if I'd be interested in moderating, I accepted his invitation, and here I am.
