There are many performing privacy coin doing well with the proof of stake consensus algorithm but veil standout in their capability to combine both the proof of stake and proof work consensus algorithm all working on thesame platform. This feature give them an edge over others

We cant really pinpoint which is better now but veil is actually among the top list privacy coin of 2019 with their new cutting edge technology

I'd choose Veil coin. Monero is also a good privacy coin.

Depends on what you want from a privacy coin? POW/POS,Ringct,Anonymous Staking,Masternode ROI etc all has different features Check masternospro for best ones.Currently using Energi,Loki,Veil,Daps & all include nice privacy techs.
