Blocks are coming in a lot more quickly now. 12 in the last hour. The network will hit the golden block of 479808 (-40% difficulty reduction starts) in a matter of hours (less than 8) from this post (http://bitcointicker.co/bccnetworkstats/). The switchover can't happen fast enough. pool.bitcoin.com isn't mining any blocks. They're all being consumed by the likes of viabtc (http://bitcointicker.co/bccminingpools/). Very disappointing. We've only got 10 Ph/s currently mining it. We need more hash power to switch to have a chance to mine as many of those blocks as we can.

I've switched.

I think most people are stuck in the queue for having their miner switched as well.

If not, I highly recommend you switch immediately. BCC IS MORE PROFITABLE.

Hi Bitcoin.com team!

I moved 18 of my miners to the BCC pool last night, and I noticed instability in the hash rate, and surprisingly low share difficulty, and a high number of stales. I am not see the same thing on the BTC pool. If I point the miners to VIABTC's BCC pool I don't run into the same issue. Any guesses?

I've seen the same thing. Switched them to kano's (BTC) pool, and then to ViaBTC's BCC pool, and they are working fine..

I would prefer to thread softly. Now I have multiple contracts in a single BTC subaccount. I would like to switch them over to BCH one contract at a time. Will I have issues with account reconciliations?
By which I mean, for instance, since each subaccount stores a single currency, will the BCC rewards be converted to the BTC equivalent and stored in the user's bank (BTC account balance) or will the account come to have dual currency and store them as separate balances??

Sorry about that. We just fixed the stale shares issue. Please try to mine on our BCC server again.

We store BTC and BCC balances separately for every account.

Hello bdashin,

I have spoken with the administrators and they have had a look into the problem.

We can see that the IP that initiated the withdrawal was from a different country from your usual login IPs. It does appear that you were indeed hacked.

It doesn't appear that Google Authenticator 2FA was activated on the account before you got hacked, it's good that you have added this now so this will prevent anymore unwanted access to your pool account.

We need all hash power on BCC as soon as possible or we won't mine anything. Other pools are throwing 100s of Ph/s at it.

The profit dashboard for BCH is still linked to the price of BTC.. can the devs @ pool.bitcoin.com change that?
0.0230 BCH isn't worth 92 USD. :-)

Been mining BCC for the weekend, but I see nothing but fees charged and no profit. According to difficulty and your calculator I should be making more than BTC mining BCC. If I leave my contracts on BCC now, is there a risk the system close my contracts for them being unprofitable?

I'm curious why there is so little hashpower on BCC relative to BTC in this pool. It's very different at other pools. It's been more profitable to mine BCC for almost 3 days, what's going on??

Also what's happening with the overall pool hashrate?

Image

Also the BCC hashrate has been jumping around between 5 and 15 Ph/s. Are there issues with the pool?

Sorry, I just realized there is a bug where users don't get paid BCC if they have some contracts on BCC and BTC.

I will fix this bug tomorrow and make sure everyone affected by the bug gets paid.

I'm sure you can in the pool.bitcoin.com interface once logged in. Would depend on if they have hashrate available though, which it appears they are out of stock right now.

Image

A few days ago there was 126~ Ph/s mining BTC. Now it's 64.67 mining BTC. But the BCC hash rate is only 4.93 Ph/s. So all the hash rate hasn't gone to BCC, 61 Ph/s just disappeared completely. Are you sure this reporting is correct?

Hello everyone!! I am new to pool.bitcoin.com, and have been mining for about one month. I switched from mining BTC to BCH a couple of days ago.

I see that the next BCH difficulty will be higher. In 840 blocks from this post, which is probably less than 24 hours from this post, the BCH difficulty will increase by 22.50% (Actually, by more than that, because the estimate of the next difficulty is slowly increasing as new BCH blocks are found): http://bitcointicker.co/bccnetworkstats/

To hedge the "Chain Death Spiral", many would like to buy more BCC hash rate but we currently can't buy that here at pool.bitcoin.com.
Only options are to switch from BTC to BCC contracts. Any forecasts on how long it will take to bring on more lifetime hash rate without waiting until september/October?
Is this a step function in server scaling?

Shapeshift has the most common trade going from BCH->BTC right now? https://shapeshift.io/#/coins

Is it possible that a host of people who were awarded BCH now have access and are trading to BTC? Seems counter to the hash rate conversion. Does anyone have analytics on Hash Rate conversion between similar chains and exchange volume of those same two chains?
Not certain the ETC/ETH split is a good proxy to study this behavior?

Is it possible the people mining BCH are converting into BTC as its easier to liquidate in a BCH wallet-friction environment? Rate of BCH wallet and 3rd party software may slow any predicted Death Spiral?

Buying mining contracts with your pool, even the pre-orders seem to not be worth it at all since the hard-fork. if you are a Bitcoin Cash user/miner and believe in it's future. The calculated returns on Bitcoin Cash at the moment are very negative due to the high price per TH/s, and that is with using historical data in GreyWyvern's calculator, which seems to be optimistic predictions to begin with. Are prices going to lower in the future? I am very interested in purchasing more contracts, however I will hold my Bitcoin Cash until then.

Thank you for all your hard work in this industry. :)

EDIT: Actually, at this point I am not sure if I'm even right. I don't think I'm calculating some of this correctly.

If I increase the price of Bitcoin Cash by even $100, the BTC Cash returns skyrocket, so maybe it's just too uncertain at the moment.

EDIT 2: I retract my statements.
