I used an address from my coinbase.com online wallet when purchasing bitcoin from bitcoin.com.

I am guessing this is how it works when not using the wallet from bitcoin.com?

Hello gwenzit, you can buy bitcoins by providing an valid Bitcoin address wich you own, does not matter If it's from online wallet like coinbase or a wallet like bitcoin.com. Bitcoin.com wallet recommended because is open-source and easy to use for beginners and robust enough for experts..
