I would never risk my coins on a exchange, but I would be satisfied with a 2 of 3 MultiSig escrow with /u/evoorhees as the mediator should we need it and if he agrees to it.

I think it is reasonable to request proof, which I will be happy to provide by signing a transaction of 2,000 btc to a address with a message of your chosing, or I can just send the BCC coins to the MS first in a show of good faith since you are the one with a public reputation while I am merely someone who stays off social media platforms.

If I am to understand correctly, I would need to send 2,000 bcc to a 2 of 3 multisig address using a BitcoinABC client with the redefined sighashing algo, and you would need to send 2,000 btc to a legacy bitcoin 2 of 3 multisig address. So this would require 2 separate 2 of 3 multisig transactions in which we would fund it, and then release each of the respective keys to each other once funded.

So Once the BCC 2 of 3 is funded with 2,000 BCC and the BTC 2 of 3 is funded with 2,000, we would exchange private keys via PGP with each other. I am content waiting a reasonable amount of confirmations; say 12 to ensure no foul play.

Do you agree to the terms of this trade?

Tbf, i think Roger is trying to help Bitcoin, not destroy it. However, your point of 5 or 6 attempts almost stands i guess.

But i think he may have helped destroy Bitcoin this time. It appears his office boy may have signed for segwit by mistake, so now Ver has had to fully commit to the Core roadmap to ruin.

I believe the public service announcement on bitcoin.com already shows backing of BCC should the block size limit increase fail to materialize. This is about the block size, in my view, and frustration with constant delays and bickering on how best to scale Bitcoin for the future.

Forgive me for any ignorance, but how would this show anything other than the existence of a feud between all-in BTC holders and others who think BCC is at least an interesting idea? This looks like more of a political debate on block size, with a diversionary tactic that shows and proves nothing should Roger not agree to these terms.

It seems to me that you've already begged the question to begin with. If Roger believes in BCC, then he should gift you 2000 BTC, because of the immediate assumption of BCC's "failure" which is left undefined. This is a non-sequitur and doesn't make any sense at all.

Anyway, I'm backing out of this now. My apologies to Roger, I'm not trying to speak for him or anyone else. This trade just looks suspect to me.

Im well aware how pricing works, this was not about market discovery this was about your faith in the BCC product. If you truly think this will replace the legacy bitcoin then you should show that faith to the world by swapping out my BCC for BTC.

Are you saying that btc-e was a Chinese based exchange?

As far as i know btc-e was a cryptocurrency exchange based in Bulgaria, they may have allowed Chinese yuan trading but that's not where they were based.

I contacted him multiple times asking him to contact me to work out the details. He never did, and then the lying media like Coindesk and others reported that I had backed out of the deal.
