Wallet app not working anymore

Complete newbie so please excuse me if I'm in the wrong place.
I had a bitcoin wallet app on my iPhone, the wallet no longer works, the bitcoins are still there and it refreshes with the amount it's worth when I open it up however it doesn't pof up completely and I can't send or receive, it shuts itself down after around ten seconds...

The app is just called bitcoin wallet, I can't get any info from it or even open it up on my laptop as it's just the app.

Is there anything I can do or have I lost the bitcoin in there?

Do you possess the private key or passphrase to the wallet? If so you can import the bitcoin to another wallet.

If you have the private key or the passphrases then definitely move to another wallet. Not sure if that wallet is legit, but I think its safer to move to something like breadwallet

Are you using android or iOS?

The OP is using an iPhone so i would imagine iOS.

I don't know of any iPhone iOS wallets that are just called "Bitcoin Wallet" where did you download this from?
There is a bitcoin wallet by that name on android allows full access to the private keys so if this is the same wallet and you have made a backup just download the app again and restore from the backup. If no back then your coins might be gone.

BitcoinWallet.com is a real bitcoin wallet site (not sure if they have a native app or not though).
