Charged for a failed purchase

Mon Mar 04, 2019 11:46 pm

 hello everyone,

I'm being passed pillar to post as i clicked on the $200 purchase sign on the bitcoin mobile app for bitcoin cash which ultimately took me to a cex.io link for the purchase to complete, but failed the first two times and third time was successful, however it has charged me all three times. CEX.IO are saying to take it up with bitcoin since i used their app for the purchase, but bitcoin's customer service says to take it up with CEX.IO since their name it stated on the bank transfer all three times.
It also hasn't appeared as credit in either my CEX.IO or Bitcoin wallets.
What do I do?!

Help!

If you are using the Bitcoin.com wallet, please email our support team at: wallet@bitcoin.com so we can look at the matter for you.
It sounds like you may have already contacted our support, but i cannot link your account here to any support emails received until i get a little more information from you.

If CEX.IO has confirmed that all 3 purchases have been sent but you cannot see these funds in your Bitcoin.com wallet, it is possible that you have mistakenly provided a BTC address for these BCH purchases.

Please provide our support team with as much info as you can, including:
1. A screenshot of your Bitcoin.com "Wallets" page (the first page your wallet opens to)
2. The address you provided for these purchases
3. A copy of any confirmation emails from CEX.IO showing what address they sent the BCH to.
Please help Ross and his family during this hard time by donating to the https://freeross.org/ fund. Play at the best provably fair Bitcoin games site here: games.bitcoin.com Need a fantastic Bitcoin wallet Pick up some great Bitcoin.com swag here
