Dash Wallet SCAM

First post here. Apologies if this is not exactly where this post should be.
I wanted to bring up the topic of SCAM Wallets. These are online wallets that purport to provide a service but are actually a "roach-motel" wallet where the coin goes in but when you want to send.......it never goes out. Using the send protocol on these wallets only gets you an infinite "processing" response. However sending coin in works just fine!!! No amount of e-mailing the authors of these sites produces any response what so ever. They have been written up on other sites as being SCAM sites however it is really easy to get fooled into sending these guys your money and thats the last you will see of it.
So DASH-WALLET is the most egregious so far. I was fooled myself into sending a few DASH which are now lost. I am kicking myself for being so foolish as I know better. http://dash-wallet.com/index.php
The same crooks also operate exactly the same type wallet site only for Namecoin.

My question to the general community is this. Is there away to self police in as much as these guys that operate these sites can be ostracized or exposed as the SCAM-sites that they really are. I would love to hear any feed back as to how these guys can be exposed and/or how publicity can be brought to bear such that everyone know about their operation?

I agree that good people need to come together to stop bad actors like these.

Perhaps we can start a portion of Bitcoin.com to list known scam sites.

The problem is that they can always just register a new domain and try again.

Blacklisting sites doesn't work because (as you wrote) a new site can easily be created. A better solution is to whitelist known good sites. When I download software for the first time, I get it from a known good site, or I research the source of the link to the wallet's site.

Do not deposit any crypto-currrency at a website that does not have a valid SSL certificate (3rd party signed + trusted). Following this simple rule will solve 90+% of these problems immediately.
