Getting BCH off BTC paper wallet

Hi,

I had some paper BTC wallets I obtained from a BTC cash machine.

The BTC was on the paper wallet when the BCH fork happened.

I've since moved BTC to my nano S. but when I check my BCH balance the BCH is not on my nano S.

I managed to check the paper ticket on blockchain and see there is BCH there.

I've downloaded a BCH wallet and scanned QR code of BTC paper wallet . But app does not recognise it.

Any ideas how I can get BCH off paper wallet.

The easiest way would be to just download the Bitcoin.com wallet and then scan the private key QR code, the wallet will then display how much BTC and BCH the paper wallet has.

If you have already moved the BTC to your Ledger nano then the BCH will need to be split from there.

Thank you for the reply.

ive downloaded the wallet.

after looking around it i dont see how i can scan my qr code on my paper wallet.

when i click on receive button , the app brings up the app wallet qr code. there is no optionafter pressing receive button to start camera up to scan a qr code.



i also tried clicking the scan button thats located at the bottom, in the middle next to receive button, and after scanning qr code on paper wallet,

i get 4 options

1)the paper wallet address. i click on this and nothing happens

2)add contact , tried that it offers email and name form

3)send payment to address ..... offers an amount to send

4)copy to clipboard . i pressed that and it copied to clipboard.


Do you know if im missing something here? if not are you sure the app can scan paper wallets ?

i have not moved the bitcoin cash from the paper wallet. its still on there.
