how to buy Bitcoin Cash from Australia

I am hoping someone can advise on a reputable way of purchasing Bitcoin Cash? I am a newbie and so still learning terminology, but if I were looking for a reputable exchange located in Australia to help me purchase Bitcoin Cash, can anyone offer a suggestion?

Well, it depends... .

• If you already own BTC, you can easily exchnage it for Bitcoin cash at any exchange. For example on Changelly or ShapeShift.

• If you don't own any BTC, you have to buy BTC first. And then exchange it for Bitcoin Cash.

You can check out this comparison of exchanges and decide, which is best for you http://www.coinparator.com/compare-exchanges/ (I have no idea what are your criterias).

No matter what is your situation, you will be most likely forced to go through Money -> BTC -> BTC cash.

If you need to convert your Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash you may do so at, though not limited to, the following exchanges:

(1) Bittrex - https://bittrex.com/

(2) HitBTC - https://hitbtc.com/

(3) ShapeShift - https://shapeshift.io/

I don't know if 1 and 2 are available to Australians but ShapeShift is (and it's easy to use, an account is not required).

I have never purchased any Bitcoin before.
Looks like I will need an exchange located in Australia who can help me with my first Bitcoin purchase and who can change Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash?
Is there a site where I can see Australian exchanges who are reputable?

Most of the exchanges are international. Sometimes they block people from the USA or China. But that's it. I already send you link to overview of all legit exchanges.
