Bitcoin 101 Talk: Boise Main Library - January 6th 2016

Idaho Bitcoin Group will be hosting a Bitcoin 101 Talk at the Boise Main Library on January 6th, 2016 from 7pm to 8pm with Q&A session to follow.

Bitcoin is a cutting edge new Internet protocol that is rapidly being adopted by some of the largest, most progressive companies in the world.

The talk will be an introductory discussion about Bitcoin that's perfect for any newcomers into Bitcoin or for current Bitcoiners who want to become a little more knowledgeable on the subject.

Topics covered:

• Bitcoin Wallets
• Bitcoin Security
• Bitcoin Privacy
• Bitcoin Fundamentals including; Digital Scarcity, Blockchain and Byzantine Generals Solution.
• Bitcoin's economic impact including: Employment and Economic Stimulus

Talk will start about 7pm for about 30 minutes. Then we can have a Q&A session until 9pm if desired. I usually arrive about 6pm so feel free to show up early to chat.
