Attorneys General are marshaling a coast-to-coast legal fight against Mr. Wilson after he had an agreement with the US Department of State that effectively allowed Defense Distributed to host downloadable firearm blueprints for use with a 3D printer. In response, Mr. Wilson launched a two-week fundraising and media campaign to raise awareness of his plight, hoping to be able have digital 3D firearm blueprint files freely downloadable from his website.

For anyone here following Cody Wilson / Defense Distributed (open source 3D printable guns) and Cody’s recent arrest, and criminal charges, here’s some strange (?) news.

I picked up a student newspaper at Tulane University the other day (right around 1st of October, 2018). On the front page, and as I was skimming through it, I thought maybe there was some satire in this edition. Apparently not. It appears that 'sugar daddy' websites (like the one Cody allegedly used) and teenage female students (like the one in Cody’s case) looking to hook up with older men (in exchange for money) is condoned and encouraged both by students and the school. Some headlines include, though are not limited to, “Sugar daddy website sets up sweet arrangements for Students” and even “Decadent Dining Spots for you and Your Sugar Daddy.”
