[2015-11-29] BitReady Lets Consumers Spend Fiat Currency Wherever Bitcoin is Accepted

BitReady is doing something completely different. Rather than offering a platform to buy items priced in fiat currency and pay with Bitcoin, BitReady lets customers buy items priced in Bitcoin, even if they don’t own digital currency.

The service works as follows: during the checkout process, customers can choose the option to pay with Bitcoin, as usual. Once they go to the next step, however, BitReady will present them with an invoice to be paid in USD. Unfortunately, the service is currently only available to US customers in three states (New Mexico, South Carolina, and Montana). Users are able to pay in USD by linking their bank accounts to BitReady.
