700 confirmations but transaction not confirmed??

Sun Jan 31, 2016 12:28 am

Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could please help. I am new to bitcoins and bought my first Bitcoin a week ago in order to buy something online

I sent payment to the seller just over a week ago for just over half a bit coin (use block chain wallet). My fee was very small .0000003 or something - at the time I didn't know the importance of this.

Now a week later it says 702 confirmations but transaction not confirmed?! I thought you only need 6 confirmations? What's going on here

Cheers

Can you give some more details?

A transaction ID (as Chris said) would be useful (allows us to verify on the blockchain that the transaction did in fact take place and was verified accordingly).

We could look up the transaction if you have a destination address and amount - this may or may not be unique though, so the tx ID would be preferred.

Without this info, there is little anyone else can do to help you out.
