There have been multiple accusations, reports and questions thrown around regarding the reputation, credibility and safety of the aforementioned buysomebitcoins.com on bitcoin.com and bitcointalk. This company is not officially registered and is supposedly run by a single person. They also state in their terms of service that "We are currently unregulated and do not fall with the scope of the AML obligations". Your money is unprotected.

On another, equally serious note, it is possible that your credit card information and more importantly, photo ID could be stolen. This is extremely dangerous. Fraud is not easy to reverse, and can destroy a person's life.

Please do your research and identify risks when doing anything online, not just with your money.

I would personally go with trusted ones instead, like coinbase. Unless you have a specific reason on wanting to use buysomebitcoins.com

the first time I made a purchase on the buysomebitcoins.com website on april 21st for $105.00 I received my bitcoins the second time I purchased bitcoin on may 1st 2017 using the exact same bitcoin wallet address I withdrew my funds the first time back in april this time it refused to let me withdraw my funds from the website and I tried different bitcoin wallets thinking that perhaps maybe it's my wallet address but I was wrong that was not the case. I then called and e-mailed the admin or owner's who run the site one guy replied to me that the owner is away or on vacation and won't be back for long time and I then suggested that they fix the problem on the website which is preventing me from withdrawing my bitcoin and he then replies to me we are aware of the problem but doesn't say whether or not he will fix the problem. so yes in my opinion they are a scam I was only able to withdraw once and then they kept my other deposit of $105.00 that I deposited on may1st. so yes they are a total scam I've tried contacting them several times with no reply to this problem scam site stay far away from it

So, I just signed up for an account with this site and the initial service fee is extremely high. They do give a discount upon ID verification but it's still pricey. My question is this just a "tax" to prove you are loyal and does the loyalty program eventually bring this down to a manageable level? I have seen reviews where they say paypal trading with 5% premium but have yet to see where to sign up for this.

Paypal is available for few users only as we are still testing that payment method.

We will provide the additional payment methods to all users on our next website update - few weeks.
So will that bring the service charge down? Or does the service charge go down the more you buy? Your site seems fast and easy but I can't justify the service fee with my conscience.

The prices and fees will obviously be reduced.

You are using the first version of our website, our fees are high because of the involved risks, but now that we are comfortable stopping fraud, we will reduce the fees and increase the limits.

An update is scheduled for the upcoming weeks, all users will be notified via an SMS text message.
In that case I will go ahead and purchase my daily quota. Thanks for your quick response on this site and through your support email.

his name is Meziane ALLALI, an algerian immigrant living in new york.
He Funds his Business with coins he has stolen from a lending platform, btcpop

I paid for bitcoin from your website with my credit card. I emailed you because there was no 'instant transfer' as you have written in your email. You emailed me back saying you would look into it.

I have emailed you twice since then. You have not replied.

Have you ripped me off?

Why would you use a site like these when you can also use the more established exchanges?

Buysomebitcoins.com is a fairly new exchange and the reviews posted online are not very genuine because they offer a good referral bonus. Proceed with caution and always do research.
