Can any of the markets even be trusted anymore?
An article i found on Wired says that the dream is over, tor exit servers are being found and markets either shut down or the operators running exit scams before getting busted by the feds:

Although i have never used these sites myself i did follow their progress via reddit and other sites. What i found was that there used to be this great excitement surrounding them all over the internet, it was the next big thing after bitcoin itself to free us from oppressive governments.
If you wanted something you could get it but this dream has almost over, or is it?
If your were part of the darknet seen pre 2013 what was it like, was there actually trust back then between vendors and buyers or was it the same as now - send some coins cross your fingers and hope the vendor send your good?
Also what was the effect these markets had on bitcoin, did it help the economy get started?
Are these effects still holding bitcoin back from mainstream adoption because people still see it as "drug money"
I want to know what our members here think of these markets, just remember not to incriminate yourself.
