BIP109 is far from dead, so I have no idea why Samson Mow of BTCTC China would be spreading this kind of FUD. (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt)
This sort of childish behavior seems very inappropriate.
He even implied that Gavin should give up commit access and formally leave the project:

I see your statement concerning FUD being spread was in response to the comment above. Did you make a mistake and intend to reply to another tweet or can you clarify why you believe most miners aren't preparing for Segwit and 0.12.1?

From what I understand from miners they are expecting Segwit deployment at the end of April or early May and because of versionbits having a 95% threshold activation will be in June or july. This wouldn't contradict Samson's statement you disagreed with. Did you hear differently from them?
