S2X Strategy

The S2X fork is coming soon and if various announcements are to be believed 85% of the global hashrate will switch to S2X which will likely cause the legacy bitcoin to die off due to lack of hashrate.

After the dust settles and the S2X chain is shown to be stable, what are your plans?

Will you attempt to trade your legacy BTC for S2X? Or BCH? Some other strategy?

That's a super helpful article, thanks for sharing.

My plan will be to hold my private keys, and wait for the dust to settle before determining the best strategy to split the various coins. Then I intend to exchange the smaller chains for the main chain, since I think Bitcoin still has a long way to go price-wise in the next 6-12 months.

lol my plan is after 25 October, I will keep btc/bcc in pool.bitcoin acc until segwit2x stable to use and i will not trade/sell/buy any coin lol...

if S2X is only 10-20% of S1X price (as it looks like from the futures), I'll be sorely tempted to sell the S2X and buy more Bitcoin Cash (which I think has more potential long term.)

Probably the safest bet though is just keep all chains and sell nothing. That way, whatever the market chooses you haven't lost position.

BTC <==WAR==> B2X

B2X will steamroll "Legacy" BTC because Bitcoin as it is now, is broken, with a lot of energy defending a "We made this, it's ours, and everything else lacks the technical elegance of a proper solution, that WE and only WE shall implement" It is unfortunate, and I hope that great offers are at least extended to the core team once B2X becomes BTC, but I fear core will end up trying to sink there own ship before surrendering to the obvious loss.

Instant payments!? The opening definition of what Bitcoin is as it reads right now.. Would ANY of you tell your family, friends, customers how "Instant" Bitcoin payments are ? This product is the flagship, it is the Coca Cola of "Soda", it is what is known when people think about Cryptocurrency, with developers that have what exactly ? Millions invested in mining equipment ? Businesses across the world ready for dependable transactions ? These developers have failed, and I believe at this point if the developers refuse to cooperate with the miners, and business leaders then replace them, we don't have time to listen to all the arguments..Either fix this damn thing, or get people that will.

In my opinion Bitcoin Cash along with Litecoin is already here, primed to take us all to the next level..Between BCC and LTC, we have Bitcoin of the future already, both being "Forks" of Bitcoin that actually work. Litecoin being the technical front-runner, literally the "Light" leading the way for Bitcoin and and it's forks. Imagine what Roger Ver and Charlie Lee could do as Business and Technical leaders for the Bitcoin to come instead of betting against each other.

So in the end, stock up on popcorn, HODL, and be ready for a whole new landscape as the ashes clear..Oh yeah, and I'll be holding plenty of BCC / LTC, I'll get rid of every bit of Bitcoin I can..This of course is only my opinion, and I wanna be extremely wrong as to what I see coming, that would be wonderful!! One last thing, cause I'm tired and rambling, where is the path of least resistance here ? BCC, it's like it snuck out of the room to do it's own thing just before Bitcoin Gold walked in only to witness its own meltdown with Legacy and B2X...B2X, sounds like a fireworks show.. BOOOM 2 X Over.. Now that is my over-welcomed and extended opinion gone silly.
