Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:11 am

Hi all

I hope someone can help me out.

I made a deposit by buying some coins with a credit card ( appareantly BCH not BTC)

I used the app to pay, but they cant see the payment do to that i apparent did pay with BCH and not BTC.

I did try to track the payment on blockchain
when i do that, i get two results, one for BTC and one for BCH.
the BCH is ok, the BTC is not. but are to the same addresse, i dont understand that part.

BUt the company can not see/get the money.
what can i do ?

Is "just" 0,5.... BCH. but as a student, thats alot of money for me.

Please let me know what i can do, or if i am missing some information.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin Core (BTC) are both irreversible payment systems. So, unfortunately, there is no way to reverse a sent transaction, or for you to recover the BCH from your end.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) can usually be recovered from a Bitcoin Core (BTC) address, but this can only be done from the "_Receivers_" end.

If you have sent BCH to a BTC address, then you will need to ask the receiving party to recover the BCH funds for you. If they do not know how to recover BCH from their BTC address, they will need to contact the support team of their wallet provider.

Please understand that Bitcoin itself isn't a company, just like “gold” isn't a company - this means that Bitcoin.com doesn't control Bitcoin in any way. We also don't send, receive or store any bitcoins.
Bitcoin.com has nothing to do with Bitcoin transactions; our website exists for informational purposes only. We cannot reverse or refund any transactions sent.

Bitcoin (BCH/BTC) is a P2P (peer-to-peer) network. When you send a bitcoin transaction there is no 3rd party involved, it is a transaction strictly between yourself and the person/company you are transacting with.

Thank you for the fast reply.

I get this reply from the company.

"""""""""""""""""""

That this is the problem why money can't be seen on our side. We have asked to sent BTC not BCH.

Please try to contact the service from where you have sent payment, maybe you can recover your payment. On our side we cannot do anything because we do not have private keys

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""

i made the payment to: Bitcoin address: 1EPccxEZoSYmaCktDtAtsTBgMQ59xchXJw

are there other reciving partys with the same address when i use BCH and not BTC.
I dont understand where the money did go when they cant see them.
