Why did you start this company? Can you tell me about AirFox?
AirFox was founded to provide mobile affordability to the underserved, low-income consumer who is restrained by the cost of data and can’t fully enjoy the benefits of the smartphone.
Sara and Victor met while working at Google and saw first hand the power of free search. AirFox wants to take the concept of free search and apply it to mobile data.
- AirFox’s vision is to make the mobile internet more affordable and accessible and the biggest limitation for our customers is access to capital. AirFox is positioned to create mobile capital for advertisers, users, and carriers using the blockchain. AirFox uses advertising and micro-loans on the blockchain to unlock unrealized mobile capital through a new cryptocurrency - The AirToken.

What is an AirToken?
AirToken is the token for mobile access. AIR is a cryptocurrency created by AirFox to enable a more decentralized and efficient mobile ecosystem between carriers, advertisers and publishers to unlock the ‘dead mobile capital’ of data-starved and unbanked or underbanked customers in emerging markets. Through AirTokens, users can recharge their prepaid mobile data plans through direct purchases, earning via advertising, and claiming micro-loans.
- Over the last year, AirFox’s business-to-business platform has enabled more than 2 million unique U.S. prepaid wireless subscribers to reduce their mobile costs while helping wireless carriers better serve their customers.

What do AirTokens represent?
AirToken is an AirFox product. AirTokens are access to mobile capital in emerging markets, first for the internet than eventually other products and services. When consumers purchase or earn an AirToken they are essentially buying into our vision and buying utility for their own use, either for themselves or for others. The tokens provide real utility enabling anyone to recharge over 5B prepaid sim cards across the world. AirTokens are a utility product and are not securities or investment instruments. They are not intended for speculation.
- AirFox Android Apps powered by the AirToken blockchain AirFox’s free Android apps,
AirFox Recharge and
AirFox Browser, enable any prepaid mobile subscriber on Earth to earn AirTokens. With both apps, users are rewarded in AirTokens for every ad impression on their device. Users can then exchange those AirTokens for mobile data or use them to send mobile data to others via 3.5B prepaid SIM cards and over 500 wireless carriers. Eventually users will also be able to claim micro-loans of AirTokens.

AirFox Browser - Browse, Save & Earn
- The AirFox Browser blocks outside advertising and trackers that raditionally consume over 50% of a user’s data plan. Once Android users download the AirFox Browser, they gain fast internet access and can use their mobile data more efficiently.
- Users can opt-in to non-incentivized ads from AirFox and those will appear in the browser periodically. Users earn AirTokens by opting in to AirFox ads.

AirFox Recharge App - Earn, Buy & Save
- In this app, users can opt to view advertisements and complete offers (complete surveys, install apps, watch videos, purchase goods, etc) to earn AirTokens. The amount of AirTokens each offer is worth is displayed to the user before they accept the offer.
- Ads are periodically displayed on a user’s smartphone after certain events; for example, a call is ended or the phone is unlocked.
- Users can also purchase AirTokens directly within the AirFox Recharge app using their local currency in certain countries where AirFox has integrated this service. In the United States, a credit card can purchase AirTokens.
- Eventually this app will also grant microloans of AirTokens to AirFox users based on smartphone data.
