copied wallet and have invalid address

I am very new to bitcoin, created a wallet on bitcoin.com app, and there was an option for free bitcoin cash. I logged into twitter as requested, and then copied my wallet address where specified, except it states my address is invalid. Not worried about the free bitcoin cash from faucet as it stated, I am more concerned that I will purchase bitcoin and it will not accept my address. Does this happen? Thank you for your time.

When you copied your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) address, did you include the "bitcoincash:" prefix before the address?

If you did include this, try removing it and just using the BCH address.
