WALLET LOGON

Sat Mar 04, 2017 11:07 am

Hello,
I have a Bitcoin wallet that I created some years ago with some Bitcoin in it and I have never used it.

I have the long wallet ID number and email account that I used to set it up.

Do I have to login through the site that I created it through? I don't remember who that was.

I did try loging in using bitcoinwallet.com but that just tell me my wallet ID is incorrect.

I hope I have not posted this in the wrong place on the forum - advance appologies if I have

This board is the probably the best place for this question, if not "Beginners & Help".

From what you described, the you did not download any desktop client (Bitcoin Core, Electrum, etc), but you used an online web wallet?

The problem is that you need to remember the site you signed up on and/or your password. A good place to start searching for the site would be your inbox itself, if you didn't clear it. Search for something along the lines of "bitcoin" or "wallet".

If I had to take a guess, was the site you used blockchain.info? If it was, you might be in a little bit of trouble because without your password or recovery seed, you're pretty much screwed there.
