Is anyone looking for a parental control app for your kids and teen? Why?

My wife made up her mind that it is necessary for our daughter but I am quite skeptical about that.

Nowadays it is really helpful thing because information leads or kids to choose inappropriate content, and we need to help them with that. For my boys I use an app called mspy to keep track of every photo and video saved on their phones. Every time they record a video or take a photo, it will immediately be uploaded to my account. I also can block any website or an app I think won't be good for them.
