This was after the CIA and other state mafia members: http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/18/politics/ ... -security/ were exploiting the tragedy in Paris to attempt to push governments to ban encryption (which is impossible, by the way).

Even the New York Times has come out with an op-ed chastising John Brennan, head of CIA, for being such a shameless opportunist and propagandist: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/18/opini ... .html?_r=0.

There has to be responses to massacres like the Paris attacks, but mass surveillance and hysteria to ban encryption is certainly not a valid one.
