Using BTC to pay suppliers around the world

Tue Aug 16, 2016 9:56 pm

Hello Bitcoin forum,

Sorry if I am writing in the wrong section, I am also new to BTC.

For a short introduction, I work in an international trading company located in South America, we import and export several products, and in order to do so, we have to pay our suppliers around the world, mainly in Hong Kong with USD only.

Since we have high costs to send money abroad and lose a lot of money with the exchange, I am considering using BTC to do so.

I can buy BTC nationally easily. And I can also have accounts with exchanges around the world and sell my BTCs to USD.

So far so good.

But the tricky part is that the exchanges seems to not allow any withdraw to third parties (my suppliers).

Our turnover is around USD 200 ~400k weekly.

Does anybody know how can we make this possible? Is it possible to make it with BTCs?

Thank you guys!

Your suppliers must open their own accounts at a local exchange. Then you can buy btc at your local exchange, send it to them to pay the deliveries and they convert the received btc at their local exchange in any currency they want.

For an overview of btc exchanges, please have a look here:

To find an exchange suitable for your hongkong based partners, look at the ones with BTC/CNY trading, those are from asia. But be aware that withdrawal limits and which currency you can withdraw depends on various factors, like local jurisdiction or the abilities of the bank where you have your bank account.
