I have noticed that there is already many users here with the same username as on bitcointalk.org. I personally use the same username on both.

I just wanted to make members her aware that there is already talk on that forum that many imposters are setting up business here using trusted names from bitcointalk.org.

This forum looks great and i want to see it sucseed without all the scams and trolls found on the old forum.

I would imagine most trusted members would want to use the same username on both site so we need a way to prove that the people on both forums are of the same person. Best way to do that would be to provide a signed btc message stating that you are the same user on both sites, you should also post a link to this address from bitcointalk.org. PGP message is also acceptable.

I welcome all suggestions to improve the way we can keep scammers and imposters out of this great new forum.

This is a great idea to help prevent scammers.

Unless someone has an idea on how to automate the process in some way, perhaps this thread will become the mega ID verification thread.

Thanks for nice words Roger, i have always admired the work you do for the bitcoin community.

To help build confidence in the thread and forum it would be good if you could reply with a signed message yourself, how else do we know we're dealing with the real Roger Ver?

Not yet but this is a great idea and something i would like to see implemented , thanks.
I will bring this up with Roger at our first moderators conference that will be held in The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, i think Roger Ver has a passport for there.

Or maybe i will just bring up the idea with him during our next discussion.
