The enforced fee-market is a nightmare, not only from a consumer stand-point, but also from a technical one.

I couldn't see your average user getting the substantial fees right to ensure being included in the next block for a timely transaction.

Satoshi did not design Bitcoin like this, even he said a fee market will eventually grow by itself with-out the need of developer interference on said issue.

People really need to take the time to read up on all of the information he wrote, including his talking points - it is genius and priceless.

Remember what Core said, "fuck satoshi" (there is a thread about that here in discussion)

Did you notice how 21.co removed their (incorrect) satoshi => dollar conversion rate, a day after my post?

Was it all too complicated for them, or too embarrassing to say how expensive it is, in dollar terms, to send your bitcoins through Core software?
21.co never thanked me for alerting them to the fact they were misleading bitcoiners.

Today from 21.co, "The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 160 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.
For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 36,160 satoshis."

So how much is that in dollars? I make it $0.37. (at £1010 per btc)
2 weeks ago, 21 were saying it cost less than half that figure.

(look out roger, that $78 fee you paid a few weeks ago, it now costs around twice that -~ $150 and rising as planned by core)
