Hello all,

I am new to Bitcoin and purchased Bitcoin on Coinbase yesterday and used the bitcoin.com wallet app on my laptop to transfer the coins to that wallet. The transfer was successful but the coins aren't showing up in my wallet on the app, although if I import the wallet onto blockchain, the coins appear.

I want to transfer these Bitcoins to another wallet where they will appear and I can use them, but in order to do so, I need my private key and I'm not sure where to find that on the Bitcoin.com app.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi rachelmeller,

If you are looking for private keys in your Bitcoin.com wallet you will need the mnemonic seed (12 word backup):

Home > Settings > [your wallet name] > Backup

You can then import the seed into another wallet or you can find a BIP39 mnemonic code converter which will give you a list of your private keys.

I can't offer you any official advice regarding a BIP39 mnemonic code converter, but please be careful to make sure that you aren't being scammed.
