I fucked up please help

I sent myself some bitcoins off of my ledger nano ass using their app and sent them to myself using tails and electrum wallet, when i did this it never accepted the bitcoins so i just assumed if it wouldnt send the transaction would cancel. I came back and checked and the transaction was confirmed and i haven't recieved these bitcoins and won't be able to. (1) Are you sure that your Electrum wallet is connect to the network?

(2) Have you updated? If not, you may want to do so: https://electrum.org/#download
