Problem linking account

Tue Nov 28, 2017 6:12 pm

After being a skeptic for some time, my brother talked me into getting in over the holiday weekend. I didn't have my full checking account number in my phone, so I had to wait till I got home to sign up. I then had to wait 2 days for the tiny credits to show up to activate my account. They finally came through this morning, but Bitcoin said they were wrong! I tried a few times, even reversing the order of #1 and #2, and tried with a 0 in front of the decimal point and without. Ultimately, I got locked out, and will have to wait 24 hours before trying again.

I talked a guy into buying Bitcoin on the airplane on the way home Sunday, and literally watched him create his account and buy in a minute or two. Why did he not have to confirm 2 small transactions , and I do? His account was with Capital One, mine with a small local bank. Is taht why?

I am so frustrated. Bitcoin has literally gone up several hundred dollars while I've been trying to do this!

Bitcoin.com is just one domain name used to promote Bitcoin. Bitcoin.com is not an official website. Just like nobody owns the email technology, nobody owns the Bitcoin network.

As such, nobody can speak with authority in the name of Bitcoin.

Have you successfully purchased some bitcoin at Coinbase now? Or are you having problems with that? If you are having problems, or a difficult time, on their site then you'll need to contact support at Coinbase.

If you have successfully purchased some bitcoin are you now having other troubles such as sending a bitcoin transaction?

You may download one of our Bitcoin.com wallets here: https://www.bitcoin.com/choose-your-wal ... ent=wallet

You may also purchase bitcoin here at our site (the service is provided by our partner Simplex): https://buy.bitcoin.com/
