Deposited BCH showing as BTC

I deposited some BCH from an exchange wallet. The wallet showed BCH yesterday when I deposited it but now it is showing the same number of coins as BTC. It even shows my balance assuming it is BTC.

3BCH were deposited and it shows 3BTC and balance as $25k+

I know from my trading history I am not that lucky and this is probably a bug. Can someone please help me out as to how I can resolve it and make my BCH, BCH again? Thanks

Could you please email a screenshot of this and provide the BCH transaction ID to wallet@bitcoin.com so will can look into the issue.
Please provide the txid in text form so we can check it on the blockchain.

UPDATE: I tried sending the coins assuming they are BCH and they went fine. If you click the "View on Blockchain" button it shows a page that reads "No transaction found" but on that page if you choose the "Switch chains" options it shows the transaction.

So basically, the Bitcoin.com wallet is displaying the wrong currency and calculating the current balance based on the faulty representation of the balance.

I am planning to move all my coins to an exchange. Uninstalling the wallet. Re-installing the app. Getting a new wallet and hoping it doesn't happen again. Will post updates here
